What is Christadelphia or the Christadelphian Community?

Christadelphia, or city of Christ, is the Community of Brothers and Sisters in Christ. It is the worldwide association or liaison organisation for Christadelphians, who are non-Trinitarian Christians, which means that they believe in only one God and not in a Holy Trinity.

As a community they are connected and they stand together as brothers and sisters, under the guidance of the Nazarene teacher or rabbi Jeshua, Jesus Christ. They look after each other and vouch for each other; They connect with each other and support each other, no matter what happens.

As an international community, they have in common that they follow the teachings of Christ unequivocally and do not allow themselves to be carried away by worldly traditions that may take place around them.

Their relationship is the doctrine of the Bible, which they regard as the infallible Word of God. They also have in common that they feel liberated from all chains and are therefore allowed to develop freely under the Divine Provision. In this regard, each ecclesia has complete freedom to perform its services according to its own preferences. For example, not every sacrificial service or Eucharist has to be the same.

Mutual respect is essential in the community and everyone can bring his or her input to the community.

The Christadelphian Community may not have a "Mother Church", but there is a general connection with certain institutions such as CBM. Yet it is most important that the ecclesia forms a church congregation that is a God's Church or God's community or God’s congregation. Whether it is a house church, or a larger church, mother church or sister church, the goal remains the same, to be children of God and to look forward together to the coming Kingdom of God.
